Laurie Gimore has officially announced that there will be a sixth Dream Harbor novel called The Daisy Chain Flower Shop!
Information on The Daisy Chain Flower Shop was very limited when it was first announced; all we knew was that it would be a full-length novel and it would be released on the 19th May 2026. So while we do have a while to wait, I’m sure it will be more than worth it!
Now, on the 30th July 2025, we finally got a substantial glimpse at what’s to come from the sixth novel in the Dream Harbor collection, as well as a cover reveal! So here’s the synopsis for The Daisy Chain Flower Shop:
Daisy is fed up with being unlucky in love, and after several weddings she has done the flowers for end in divorce, her beloved flower shop has gained a reputation of being cursed, thanks to Mayor Kelly and his infamous visions.
Dream Harbor newcomer, Elliot, has been adjusting to town life following his own relationship turmoil. And until now he’s avoided the flower shop at all costs. If the mayor is correct, he doesn’t need any more bad luck in his life.
But with his family coming to visit, Elliot finds himself reluctantly in front of Daisy’s store in need of some flowers. As the petals blossom in the sunlight, Daisy and Elliot might find that love comes when you’re least expecting it…
And here are the tropes to expect in the novel:
- Fake relationship
- Found family
- Small town
- He falls first
- Returning favourite characters
Fake relationship trope? Yes please! I can just tell that it’s going to be a good, spicy little number!
Whilst I do prefer the autumn and winter Dream Harbor vibes, it will be nice to have another spring one alongside The Strawberry Patch Pancake House. To be honest, I’d be happy for Laurie Gilmore to make this a twenty-book series because I just love it so much. There are so many possibilities for other shops too.
It feels like we’re being completely spoiled with Dream Harbor news at the moment, which I am not mad about at all. Only a few weeks ago, it was announced that there would be a Dream Harbor novella called The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlour. Although it will initially only be released in the Netherlands and Belgium, all signs point to further releases around the world at some point!
Are you excited for another Dream Harbor book? Will you be ordering The Daisy Chain Flower Shop? Let me know in the comments!
