Book 5 in the Dream Harbor series—The Gingerbread Bakery—is getting an exclusive sprayed edge edition from The Works in the UK!
The Gingerbread Bakery by Laurie Gilmore is due to be released on September 11th, 2025, and The Works have only gone and announced that there’ll be a sprayed edge edition. This comes after their hugely popular sprayed edge edition of The Strawberry Patch Pancake House earlier this year.
The Gingerbread Bakery is the fifth book in the hugely popular Dream Harbor series, and ever since The Works released The Strawberry Patch Pancake House, there have been calls to re-release the previous books with sprayed edges. Although there’s no news on that, we do now know that book 5 will be a sprayed edge exclusive to The Works.
The Gingerbread Bakery’s sprayed edges will feature a cool blue tone with snowflakes, candy canes, and of course, gingerbread men. I, for one, am very excited for this book. I have high hopes after books 3 and 4 let me down a little. No matter what, though, this cute little series will always keep pulling me back in.

The Works exclusive sprayed edge edition of The Gingerbread Bakery will be released on Thursday, 11th September. Though do check in store and online before then, because I’m sure the last Dream Harbor book was released a little earlier!
