The limited release Dream Harbor novella, The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor will soon be available worldwide.
A year ago, Laurie Gilmore surprised Dream Harbor fans by announcing a brand new novella called The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor. At the time, the book was only set to release in the Netherlands and Belgium as part of English Book Week, leaving readers everywhere else desperately hoping for a wider release.
Now, we finally have good news.
Laurie Gilmore has officially confirmed that The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor will be getting a global English-language release in June 2027.
The author shared the announcement on Instagram alongside a screenshot from Publishers Weekly, which stated:
“The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor Novella will be releasing globally in the English language in June 2027.”
This is huge news for Dream Harbor readers who missed out on the original limited release back in 2025. The novella quickly became one of the most talked-about parts of the series despite very few readers actually being able to get hold of it.
For anyone unfamiliar with the story, The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor follows Charlotte, Annie’s sister, and her colleague Leo in a friends-to-lovers romance set in Dream Harbor. Laurie Gilmore previously described it as taking place during the day the pair realise they want to be more than friends. The novella also features appearances from plenty of familiar Dream Harbor characters.
When the novella was first announced, Laurie Gilmore hinted that international readers would “have to wait,” and thankfully that wait now has an end date.
While June 2027 still feels far away, it’s exciting to know that Dream Harbor fans around the world will finally get the chance to read the novella for themselves.

Laurie Gilmore also confirmed that there’s another full-length Dream Harbor romance arriving in fall 2027, with even more books still to be announced.
