The Works has finally released a Dream Harbor book with exclusive sprayed edges!
The new book in the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore has just been released, and if you’re in the UK, then you’re in for a treat. The Works have released The Strawberry Patch Pancake House sprayed edges edition!
Featuring a beautiful pink edge decorated with strawberries and pancakes, the sprayed edge edition is exclusive to The Works, and I think we can all agree they’ve knocked it out of the park here. I do have one slight complaint, though: This is the first time The Works will be releasing a sprayed edge edition of a Dream Harbor book despite there being three previous books in the series, so I really hope they release sprayed edge editions of the other books. Although my bank account might not thank me for that wish!
The Strawberry Patch Pancake House Synopsis
As a renowned chef, single-dad Archer never planned on moving to a small town, let alone running a pancake restaurant. But Dream Harbor needs a new chef, and Archer needs a community to help raise his daughter, Olive.
Iris has never managed to hold down a job for more than a few months. So when Mayor Kelly suggests Archer is looking for a nanny, and Iris might be available, she shudders at the thought. But in need of money she reluctantly agrees.
As Archer and Iris get used to their new roles, is it possible that they might have more in common than they first thought, or is Olive just determined to play match-maker…
Laurie Gilmore’s Other Books
Laurie Gilmore is well-known for her Dream Harbor series- the steamy small-town romance novels. The books are easygoing and cozy, which is just what we all need sometimes.
I read the first Dream Harbor book, The Pumpkin Spice Cafe, last year, and despite it not being my usual genre, it sparked an absolute love affair, and now I’m obsessed with all things Dream Harbor related! Naturally, I swiftly followed that up with The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore, which I loved even more than the first novel.
The third novel in the Dream Harbor series, The Christmas Tree Farm, was released just in time for Christmas. It wasn’t my favorite in the series, but I haven’t given up on Dream Harbor, and I’m so excited for this next book. The fact that The Works is now releasing The Strawberry Patch Pancake House with sprayed edges is even more exciting! It’ll be nice to see how this series works with a springtime release as opposed to the autumnal releases for the last three books.
There is a fifth novel in the Dream Harbor series set to be released in September 2025. The Gingerbread Bakery is sure to return to those cozy autumnal vibes that I love about the series, and I can’t wait to see if The Works release a sprayed edge edition of that book, too.
Dream Harbor Special Editions
The Strawberry Patch Pancake House sprayed edges edition is going to be a huge hit. Many people love these series, and this is one of the first real opportunities to get a Dream Harbor sprayed edges book for a good price. HarperCollins did release a TikTok shop-exclusive hardback version of The Pumpkin Spice Cafe last year with sprayed edges, and they have just announced the release of The Cinnamon Bun Book Store.
If The Works releases the other books with sprayed edges, I think I might have to take the plunge and get them because I need a matching set.
The Strawberry Patch Pancake House sprayed edges edition will be released on Monday, 10th of March, exclusive to The Works online and in-store for £6.
